I'm on day 2 of week 2, and it was tough. Someone earlier in this feed compared it to day 1 week 1 and I have to agree. It was equally as tiring, but it should be. I never could have jogged for 2 minutes before I started this program. It doesn't come easy, but it is certainly rewarding. I have the confidence and mind power to keep going. I might slow down a bit, but I'm still jogging! Good luck everyone!
I did my week 1, but I just walked last week. Yesterday I went for my walk/jog for 25 min. I started off walking for 4 min tnen I proceeded to jog I did that for about 50 feet and my knees and back hurt so bad (due to previous injuries) I could'nt continue that routine. So again I will be just walking and that's ok for me.

Did week 2 day one today all went well did not over run but did my full 4.17 miles that I have been doing this month. I love to walk. I also took an extra hour long walk with my hubby before lunch. Felt good but my feet are a liitle tired now, no more walking today.
Started Week 2 today in 91 degree heat. I wanted to quit running before 2 minutes on the third and fourth cycles but I pushed through and feel fabulous for it. My legs ache and I am dripping in sweat, but the satisfaction of taking this next step is incredible!
Congrats Janet and BiggDogg! BD, it is wonderful that you are doing it together. The BF is starting to workout with me this week. I'm excited! As for the ankle, I am with your wife, mine has had me going a little slower.
we completed w2d1 yesterday and it felt amazing!! just being able to finish felt good, but after the 25min i felt so good physically and mentally. my wife's ankle was hurtin her but i was there to help push her through it :)
Congrats to both you and your wife on making it through week 1! For me it was like day 1, except that I didn't have the fear of doing it and knew I would make it through it. It is still tough, but you can do it. The beauty of this program:)
