I also don't like running in the wind. Seems every time I go out lately, it has been windy. I start out running against the wind thinking the return will be with it....HA HA! 90% of the time, the wind changes directions when I do.
What doesn't kill me will make me stronger. The wind and I are battling this out........
This message made me smile, as the wind and I ALWAYS meet head-on when I am biking! It does make the workout more challenging, so I remind myself that this will also make me stronger. (No need to do training on hills...the wind provides just as much resistance!) Just keep training and you'll find that the running is so much easier and you can go faster when the wind isn't against you!

I did W2D3 today, but it was so hard! perhaps it's because I did it 2 days in a row (I know I souldn't but I wanted to keep my schedule of mon-wed-fri, so I wanted to be ready for week 3 next monday).
But there was some serious winds blowing, straight in my face. And of course, it was blowing only during my running intervals, OF COURSE! I finished it in 28 minutes for 1.73 miles, wich is not that bad for me.
If it's that windy next week, I don't know if I will manage to do the extra interval, but if Mother Nature is on my side, I think I'll be able to.
