I would definitely let it recover! You could do more damage to it if you keep going. And if you recover, run and it acts up again, I would go have a chat with the doc and see if running is a good idea.
i am supposed to do the second run of week two tomorrow but i have an old ankle injury acting up for a few days now. I sprained my ankle about ten years ago and have had problems with it ever since. every time i use my ankle a lot (like running, walking a lot and other exercise) it starts hurting, and keeps hurting when i just walk and it's only with a certain movement of my ankle. should i keep going in order to not loose all the progress i have made so far or should i stop to let my ankle recover which might take at least a week? I have had an mri for it and the doctors can't do anything for it and i am already using a brace which helps a little bit but nothing for the pain.
