I started week one with already turning my walks into runs. I had actually been running slightly longer intervals than what the program called for, but decided to stick with the program and focused on making my runs a little quicker.
I'll start week 2 tomorrow. I am signing up for my first race this week. It is Saturday, June 1, a week after I'll finish the program. It is an evening run with fireworks and glow sticks! Super excited!
