Crap... I put a battery in the GymBoss I just received and it's display is defective.
I didn't run yesterday either... No real excuse, I was just really tired after working a 16 hour day. I think since we just started the new week, I'm just going to start my second week of training today. The first week was really easy for me anyway, the second week will push my limits a little more. Looks like I'll be continuing this in the week 2 discussion...

I had planned on getting my run in today, but I got called in to work early.
Working a 16 hour day today, and a 12 tomorrow, I'll try and fit that run in when I get out of work though.

Walked 3.75 miles on the canal today... no blisters! Lets hope that those are a thing of the past...

I just went running along the canal... it's so peaceful there at night. I really enjoyed this and I've hated running from the 6 years I did in the Army. I used the GymBoss app this time on my IPhone. I really liked it. The run was over way before I expected it to be. I have to go pick up the real GymBoss I ordered in the morning... oh yeah, I took a day off and those blisters didn't rear their ugly heads today!

Good job on your workout! It certainly helps to have some nice scenery to keep yourself distracted while you're out on a walk/run! Sounds like maybe it's time to break out the old bandaids to cover up the blisters?! Or you could try covering it with one of those cushiony stick on thingies (I don't know the proper name for them), but I think maybe they're for bunions or something? Might be worth a shot...

I did my first run/walk yesterday. I ran the trail along the powerlines near my house. It actually seemed pretty easy. I even ran up-hill on the last two run sections. What a nice day to be outside...

Today I went to the bike path along the Cape Cod Canal and walked 4 miles. Gave myself a blister. It seems like I get one every time I walk more than a couple of miles. It doesn't seem to matter what shoes I'm wearing either. I think my skin is just too "baby soft"! I hope that doesn't hamper my run/walk tomorrow...
