I just finished my Day 1. I am ok with walking but wow the 3 intervals of running for a minute are a lot harder than they sound : ( I started off with some praise and worship on Pandora and it reminded me that "Through Christ All Things are Possible". Even if they seem impossible haha! Suzette it is awesome to see your progress and everyone else as well. Thanks, ~Tina

I did my 1st day yesterday! I have not run in more than 25 years! I was 1 of those people who always HATED any kind of fitness activity. Now, with the help of my Heavenly Father, Who is the only One Who could get me off the couch, I've started a fitness program and did my first day of the Rookie Running Program!!! All the glory to Him for introducing me to SparkPeople in the 1st place! Thank you SparkPeople!
I cannot believe how hard this was! I knew that I haven't run in almost forever, but I was not prepared for what I experienced. The first interval of running was the worst and the time could not go any slower. The next couple were not as bad, but I was finding it more difficult to catch my breath and I was getting that sharp pain in my side. To be honest, I skipped the last run :/ I didn't want to completely give up so I just decided to walk faster because I was so short of breath. Cant wait for day two! I WILL BE A RUNNER!
