I have tried different C25K programs before but they seemed to start off more aggressive and I ended up with hamstring pain. I am ready to try again. I am going to get m butt up and do W1D1 now!

The stop watch is a great idea. Think I'll try that. It would be even better if they had a wrist watch type that beeped off when the 4 minute mark is met.....

I actually took a stopwatch with me and was surprised how quickly the first 4 minutes passed. Unfortunately the 1 minute run was on a flat stretch of road (not down hill, my favorite). No dogs today which was a blessing. Really felt energized. Did it 4 more times and then walked back to work. Can't wait til Wednesday!

This year is all about me and my quest to unload this extra person I have been hauling around.
