Epsom salts are my friend. Walgreens store brand comes in several "flavors" including a lavender chamomile that will also help you relax and get a good night's sleep.
Whenever I overdo or do something new and work some muscles I didn't know I had, I take a long, hot soak in Epsom salts. When I'm feeling particularly beat up, I take a Tylenol first. I soak until the water gets cold - but that's cuz I love to bubble bath. I think the package recommends soaking for at least 15 minutes.

Well this is the end of week one, did all three days and then some. I am use to walking over 3.5 miles 3x a week and one mile the rest of the days. I was walking and running off and on for my whole route today. I found that today my knee on my right leg was hurting. I did not stop walking but I did stop running. After a while my knee stoped hurting so I tryed runing again. It starting hurting again so that was the end of runing for my day. I am not giving up I just will slow down a bit.
If you focus on results nothing will change. If you focus on change you will get results.
Are you doing any stretching exercises? Do you warm up and cool down after exercise? Are you new to exercise or have you been doing it awhile? I get the same thing but IMHO, I think it's just my age. ( the bottoms of my feet even hurt when I get out of bed in the morning...LOL)
Does anyone have trouble with being sore all Over even ankles? Seems like when I sit down after a few minutes when I get up I'm stiff & sore. After a little bit of moving around it goes away! I weight 186 & 59 yrs. old sure hope I can do this!
