include your distance with warm up and cool down and your days cross training in between. You're probably getting more miles than you think.

I include my warm up distance before my workout in my mileage as well. I am less concerned with the mileage than I am with hoe much of a struggle the running was. Last year I did the 5K for the Run For The Cure. I had been off my meds and I had so much energy to train! This year it's a no go with the meds. I take Arimidex for breast cancer and it makes me feel weak and tired. Anyway I have decided to screw the meds and do what I want to do. I take a boxing class on Monday nights and I think this has helped me to have more stamina. Tonight was the first time I was able to complete the 2 minute rounds without gasping for breath! I was thrilled! I did day 1 of week one this morning and I was able to run for a minutes at 4.9 on the treadmill. Way too hot for outside stuff. All in all a great day.

Suck it up Paulie. (A family joke that keeps us going

I did Day 1, Week 2 yesterday. The five mile goal won't be any problem this week as I am doing 2 miles each day.

If it is to be, it is up to me!

I wouldn't worry about the mileage. Just do your walk/run at your pace:)

I noticed that when I signed up for the program, a 5 mile/week goal was added to my fitness tracking page. I am in week 1 and I am only going about 1.3 miles each day. With a three day workout plan, I'd only get 3.9 miles per week. Should I try to walk on another day of the week to each the 5 mile goal? Am I going too slowly?

If it is to be, it is up to me!
