I finished up week 1 on Saturday. I had started running on my own a little before I started the SP 8 week program, so I've been doing a little more than the program asks.
I warm up and run until I have to stop (usually due to getting a stitch in my side or running out of breath). Then I start the 4 min./1 min. stuff. I've been able to go a little farther each day. On Saturday I ran a whole mile without stopping! I don't think I have done that since I was in High School and we had to take the president's physical fitness exam. lol.
I am already enjoying the benefits of running. I sleep a lot better even on days I'm not running. I'm more motivated to stick to my weight loss plan too since it will help me have less butt to haul.
