Congrats. I finished week 1 today too. Actually did 4 training sessions this week and I added 2 extra intervals on the last 3 days as I found the 4 intervals too easy. However, I'm very nervous about trying to run for 2 minutes at a time for this next week. But then I was very nervous about the 1 minute of running before I started. Good luck to all starting week 2 this week.
Just finished week 1. I'm noticing my breathing getting better and I don't seem to be as winded after the running portion, BUT I have a long way to go before the Color Run. I am just going to keep working at it and maybe next week I may add Zumba to the cross-training days.
Finished week one! Today was day 3 of wk 1 and I changed it up a little. I have an app for my phone called "RunDouble" and it has a slightly different training method. I can listen to my music and then it will interrupt to let me know when to change from walking to running and visa versa.
You start with a 5 min warm-up walk, then 8 repetitions of 60 sec running and 90 sec brisk walking. Then finishing with a gentle 5 min cool down walk for a total of 30 minutes and it kicked my butt
