Excellent! So true
eastern standard time *Determined Daisies*
"To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance"
- Oscar Wilde
"Basically, I no longer work for anything but the sensation I have while working."
- Albert Giacometti
"Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it"
- Henry David Thoreau
“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
Getting started is only part of the journey, the rest is never giving up, no matter what!!! -JH
The five keys to success are Passion, Perseverance, Balance, Giving back, and Faith.
Last week I barely could walk two miles on one day (shorter walks other days). I didn't figure I could be ready to do the 5K this week. Well, tonight, I decided to do a brief walk. After 15 minutes, I was that far from home and so tired, but I kept walked and passed my street! By the time I stopped, I had walked 50 minutes - around 2.5 miles! I could have done the remaining .6 mile, but darkness made me call it quits!
Just goes to show sometimes all we need to do to achieve our goals is just put one foot in front of the other...and keep doing it! Best wishes to all my teammates...see you at the finish line!.
