This is my 3rd week. I am working this program somewhat my own way, following most of the suggestions but realizing I am not 30 years old any more and need to be more senisble about my goals. I will be able to do the run(walk actually) on my scheduled day because I will be ready but doubt I will be in 1st place or 100th for that matter but it doesn't matter it is reaching the goal I made for myself.

To everyone who is on track. Myself, I was unable to track my walk on Friday, but I will continue this program on my chosen schedule (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) with the next part of the program. I can now say that I can walk about two miles without huffing and puffing and falling down. Soon, I hope to say, "I have completed 3 miles without fainting."

Week 3 starts for me today. I'm very excited. I'm not so sure the dog is because he walks with me. My daughter is loving it; she gets to spend more time on her bike. I now have a bodymedia which makes tracking so much easier. It's fun to try to beat myself each day going forward with the number of steps I get in!!! Thank you all for being here and sharing in this experience.

I did 3 miles this morning-walked to get my coffee instead of driving. I took it slow and took a break at 1.5 miles to drink my coffee. Got in over 10,000 steps today because I forced myself to mow the lawn tonight!
The best cure for stressing is to count your blessings...and a long walk won't hurt either!
