Week 3, Day 3 complete. Sunday begins my fourth week of training.

I am happy that the 2.25 mile walk took me only 45 minutes and that I was able to complete it at all.

Week 3, Day 1. 30 minute walk.

I walk/ran for 25 minutes. But I actually ran! It was not a jog, but an actual run. I have not been able to run in years without the fat in my abdominal region causing pain (from shifting).

Registered for a 5k next week! I am up to 13-14 mins per mile. I can keep that pace up for 4 miles. Since the 5K is only 3.1 miles, should be a piece of cake. I am adding some jogging intervals (2mins every mile or so). I am concerned about injuries so taking that slowly.

Hi all!

After a stressful day I am getting ready begin week 3 goals for walking. I walked more than 3 miles yesterday, but not all at one time.

I will try to walk 2 miles before today is over, but if not...I will start in the morning.

Hello to all,
I am "technically" finished with this week of the walking program. With all the stress of last week and the stresses of this week I have decided to take it out when walking. Sunday I walked 1.55 miles in 40 minutes, Tuesday I walked 2.8 miles in 58 minutes, and Wednesday I walked 3.1 miles in 69 minutes. I am to walk some more this week to add onto my total,so on Saturday or Sunday I will post with my finished results. I am trying walk at least 3 miles so I can get more miles and start feeling better.
I wish everyone the best of luck while completing this program. I hope that you have great success. :)

Week three over and finished. It is getting easier. Im constantly surprising myself with how far Ive gone, and reminding myself what I was capable of before all this pain stuff started happening. So week 4, and with two weeks of sight seeing I see absolutely no excuse why I cant fit it in!

The weather is not cooperating with me to allow walking outside. Been having to do my long walks on the treadmill which is not my favorite way to do it. The weather people say we should have some dry weather later in the week. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed they are right.

Great job. I just took a short 30 minute walk 1.6 miles to the supermarket with a friend today. Had to get ice cream for my hubby and of course got some for me, Ben & Jerry's 2 for $5. I will have a small bowl 1 cup/2 servings for my snack.

Was working on week three when my right knee started to hurt after every walk, this was back in June 2013. Idid a few months physical therapy and after working on my problem am back to my program. Today walked 2.25 mile with out any pain,

I screwed up and tracked Wed and Friday on the same day. Is there a way I can delete the Friday date from Wed and enter it correctly? So far, so good. Not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be!

The best cure for stressing is to count your blessings...and a long walk won't hurt either!

Going to the doctors to talk about the pain in my knee, hurts but not keeping me from walking

Did my two miles today and accorately I walked four point eight three miles. I was trying to catch up with my hiking group and I did that.

Really lacked motivation this week, did 2 out of my 3 walks today. Tomorrow going to try and get in that 2.25 mile walk.

My 30 minute walk is sort of mindless in that it is the trek from home to work!! emoticon

Completed Day 1 of Training... 1.94 miles in 30 minutes today... I was pushing a double jogger stroller with two 30 lb boys in it... Weather was good... Above freezing... :-D

Made myself do a 30 min. walk. Walked inside again, but I did it. Also did a 10 min aerobic video. So my day 1 is done. Tomorrow I cross-train.
I goofed and put my 2 mile for week 2 in week 3 and don't know how to change it, Anyone know? emoticon

Will have to repeat week 3 as I have only managed one training session all week. I have just about managed to get more than 5,000 steps a day, but not in any lengthy sessions - mostly 10 mins here and there. Hope to get in a better week this week.

Beginning week 3 running program. Boy, week three is harder than I anticipated. Just adding one more 2 minute run is difficult. I am feeling a little nauseous. Now I know how the contestants feel on the Biggest Loser. LOL!

I am continuing the program and starting from the beginning. Has anyone here done this. Do I rejoin the team or just try to do the program with trying to increase my speeds. I do not want to do the next level because jogging will be hard on my joints.

Hi all,

Completed week 3 without a problem. I am upping my miles per week to 7 for next week. Got a new pedometer that is actually a watch which is making tracking a lot easier and for under 40 dollars.
