Week 3 day 2 finished. I didn't take the day off from day 1 and have to admit that I should have. Right calve cramping up and feeling really tight. I may try to do over Thursday after resting for a day and see if I can do any better.

I did get about thrity minutes of cross training in on the bike yesterday.

Today is the walking day. Walking for two miles.....It should be very nice.today.

Week 3 day 2 done - On vacation, so I used the treadmill in the motel. Faster pace on the treadmill, maybe a little better workout. Maybe I wasn't pushing myself while walking outside.

I fell behind too, couldn't check my emails for a while and didn't read the email of the start of week three (also work was so exhausting that I didn't have the chance to walk anywhere). But finally I was able to catch up today and walk for a hour and a half (I always go overboard when I get the chance to walk in a sunny day!)

I haven't been able to get out because of stormy weather. Today, I did a little indoor work. Rode my stationary bicycle, and did some strength training videos. I also did a variety of workouts using my wii. I am hoping before the week is up to get my final 2.75 miles completed for this week.

This 2nd day of week 3 and it has been raining and thunderstorms all day and looks to continue the rest of the week. I wanted to get out and walk today but not a chance. I will do Cardio at home and hope it clears up by Friday. If it is warm, a little rain won't hurt.

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Well it was tough but W3D2 completed. I'm trying to walk after work and I really tired by the time Thursday rolls around so definitely not fast! But I did it and hopefully race day (a Saturday) will be a little easier. Still 2 more weeks to train!

W3D1 30 min. walk completed after work today! Roughly 1.23 miles or 1.97 km (for all us Canadians!). Not the fastest time but I'm doing it and that's all that matters to me.

Day 3 tracking: Got my 2 & 1/4 mi in during my lunch hour. It made me a little late back to work, but that was ok and I made it up after 5:00

Took me 38 min to get my 2 miles in, but I am happy. I only had to do a slow down lap every 10 laps as opposed to every 5 laps last time:) I'm beginning to see that I really can do this virtual 5K by April 16. WeeHaw!

Did two miles in 35.5 minutes. With my short legs, I'm content with that, considering I'm just now getting to be able to do 2 miles at all!

I just started week 3 today....hoping my Leslie Sansone DVD arrives today so I can use it for my walk later. Our weather is still iffy this time of year for walking outdoors.

I have just finished the last day of week 3. AMEN! I walked 2.50 miles in front of my TV with Leslie Sansone. So I did a smidge extra and I am happy about that.
Now on to week 4. WOO HOO!
