Today I took Robert to school and then went to the gym and worked out.
I spent 67 minutes on the treadmill. Then I rode the bike for 44 minutes. Then attended the Silver Sneakers Class for One Hour.
I then went to the school and helped out in the 4th grade special Education with math and reading. After school my son Robert wanted to go to the gym to work out and I worked out on the weight machines for 25 minutes.
I lost 4 pounds this week. That makes 12 pounds down in three weeks.

week 1 was hard but got it done will move to week 2 on Sunday and see how it goes may have to change my plan and do week 1 again but that's fine since my race is not until May 6th and its a 12 k I think that 7.46 miles sounds like less but i am moving along. today is 3/30 and just completed the goals for the week i had to do most of my walking in the covered Mall or the elliptical in the gym as it rained every day where i live. I did manage to walk up the hill Called Doomsday Hill which is on the race course for my up coming race. the hill is 1.5 miles one way and i did it up and down so i could get my car I made it back to the car just before the rain came so now its on to the next week on Sunday. the race is 37 days away i will count my 12 k as my race to get my trophy.
Began week two yesterday. I am sick right now and really felt like doing just about anything BUT going for a walk.....but I grabbed my walking poles and went 1.5 miles.
In a way, I feel like I am cheating. Being sick and very busy last week, I only did two of the three days. So the temptation this week, was to count yesterdays walk as last weeks, and try to get 3 more days in on top of that. Maybe I should have, but I know me and truly felt that then if I missed a day this week I would be two days behind and then three and then........and that's how I get overwhelmed, discouraged, and defeated. So, I started with a clean slate and began the week 2 plan. If I happen to get an extra day in, then so much the better, but if I don't I am not going to look back, only forward.
