I find that I really can walk in pretty cold weather. I have some longies (it is hard to walk when my legs and backside are too cold) and dress in layers. I put a nice cap on, cover my ears and have a scarf that I put over my mouth at the beginning of my walk. I can adjust it as I find necessary to keep warm.
I even walk in the rain if it isn't pouring. Sometimes I will misjudge and get soaked, but it is all part of being healthier.
You can get there, but it does take a little time and planning. I just won't let Mother Nature keep me from my goals.

I am amazed at myself. I am looking forward to my walks! It's not a chore. This morning looks beautiful, but it's all of 14o! If we're lucky, it might make the high 30's. The minute it's more tolerable I'm on my way out the door!

I would count those inside minutes .... this time of year we have to make a few adjustments for sure .... I'm hoping for that 60 degrees tomorrow because I am going to do the 2 miles here in my neighborhood after I get back from my range in motion class at the Y .... today was my hour of water exercise/jogging and an hour of aqua water walking/dancing ... great day

I didn't even go outside yesterday it was so cold and windy. Having the day off, hubby took care of all the animals and brought in the firewood. Me, I stayed inside and jogged for 30 mins on the rebounder. Does that count for my 25 consecutive minutes?

I just realized today that I am I fair weather walker. It is another beautiful day out and I was out doing my 1.75 mile walk. I try to do them every other day Monday, Wednesday and Friday but my 2nd day of the week walk was done today because Wednesday was a cold misty kind of day. Now to do miles 2 mile tomorrow to get caught up. I feel great that I am still at it though!
