I walked for 30 minutes instead of 25 and did 1.41 miles...It started raining halfway through my walk determined to finish & not a thunderstorm just a downpour I walked the whole route...it was actually fun...my husband came looking for me & I sent him back home of course he thought I'd lost my mind but I was determined to finish & I did!!!

If you were able to do it then great but the schedule is the way it is for a reason - it slowly gets you prepared for a 5K.

also, if you walk according to the schedule and complete the training, at the end, Spark People will present you with a virtual trophy.
