I agree with you Carolyn, way to much sitting for me. We (DH & I) have walked everyday at the park (it is Mile Square) and today we will do it again. Yesterday was hard, my joints just didn't want to lubricate so we didn't walk as fast but did get in 45 minutes.
Every day I am on the verge of making slight changes that would make all the difference in my life.
Last evening I did the 25 minute continuous walk for Week 2 of the Walking Training Program. I think I'll do the next walking on Wednesday afternoon as I have classes to teach today and tomorrow afternoons.
It feels good to get active again. I've been doing entirely too much sitting. During these 5 weeks I also am trying to get back on track, or on track, with my eating so I can change my weight to start coming down again, instead of up!
