I managed to complete the first 2 sessions of week 2 and now I have a lovely cold from the weather change here in Australia. It goes from 80-100F in one day to 50 and 60F the next. We are in Spring here but it really needs to pick a stinkin season so I can feel better and keep going on my programs.

For me, week 2 starts today. I had a hard workout on Monday so I will be sticking to the 25 minutes on the treadmill and maybe following it with some cycling. I try to workout Mon, Wed and Fri. for an hour but I'm still sore from Monday so I think I will be taking it back a notch. I have to be careful with my knee.

Week 2 Day 1 complete! My 25 minutes turned into 30 minutes and I made 1.71 miles! For someone who was sitting on a couch since about the first of September, I did alright. Hope everyone here has a wonderful day!

I walked around a 3/8 mile track twice this morning. I was not sure how many more times to walk this particular track until I got home and researched the length of the track, so I did not make it to a mile this morning. I needed to walk 1 more time to make it 1 mile, so I will walk it again tomorrow morning emoticon

Woo Hoo! Finished week two with little problem. Got in the 2 mile walk today in just a little over 30 min. including cool down. I'm debating doing week 2 again before trying week 3. We'll see how I feel next week.

I was able to finish Week 2 yesterday at 10pm. This week was extremely busy and hetic. I started out very well then I had family issues that made the rest of the week difficult to work in my walk but I did finish. I did have good walks. I walked 2.40 miles in 58 min on Sunday, 1.75 miles in 21 min on Tuesday, and then Saturday I walked 3.5 miles in an hour and 20.

Week 2 done, and although it was a struggle to fit it into a busy week....I guess thats part of what this challenge is about, committing the time to do some exercise!

I feel good for it, and I guess this is a great time of year to take on this challenge, with spring on its way each days walk brings about a new view and everyone is out and about. Its actually invigorating to get outside regularly rather than feeling cooped up in my little bachelorettes pad :)

So...next up week 3!

Yesterday I walked 1.75 miles in 45 minutes. Week 2 day 3! Felt good. Today I will just take a stroll for 30 minutes or so. Tomorrow - 2 miles.

Day 2 of Week 2 down! I was sore from all of my exercising the previous day, but I pushed through and got it done. The great thing was that about a .25 of a mile in, the soreness started to go, making it a lot easier on me! :)

I'm in Copenhagen for a meeting. Walked to the meeting, walked to dinner (in the front of the group!), walked up and down steps, walked back to the hotel. 7 miles and 17,000 steps according to the fitbit! WooHoo!

Checking in! Walked the neighborhood last week for the first time ever and ended up with major shin splints for 3 days- oh the pain!! Finally after icing and rest they are better.

Monday did my day 1 week 2 and Tuesday night did day 2 for week 2 :) This morning did Day 3 (2 miles) but will do again tmw morning too.

Loving this program so far! Can't WAIT for Oct 19th's 5K!!!

emoticon Day 2 done.
Walked 2.16 miles. Went out at 7am before it got too hot. Much nicer.
Walked longer than I thought I could, but found out I have to add variety to the route or I get bored. Can't do 2 circuits of the park, but ok to walk the park, walk through the center area under the trees for awhile and then walk the neighborhood surrounding it.

I didn't check my schedule for week 2. Today was 25 mins and I thought I remembered it was 1.75 miles! So I walked the miles in sweltering humid heat. Ugh.

Checking in for week 2. It's a really hot day and I've already had to walk to and from the dentist - not quite long enough for a 'training' walk, so I'll be doing 'day 1' tomorrow instead, unless it's a lot cooler this evening.

Yes ma'am! This was W2 D3 for me. I walked 2.5 miles to the park. Walked/jogged 5 miles in 55 minutes around the track, stretched 10 minutes, then walked 2.5 miles back home. I think I will be sore tomorrow.....

Just finished my "Day 3" two mile walk. Hubby went with me. The problem with that is I'm a lot fatter than he is and he has trouble walking slow enough for me to keep up. My pulse rate was about 124 at the end, his was clear up to 89! emoticon Completed in 45 minutes, so I don't think that is too bad.

Did day 1 of week 2 today. That's what I did last time, almost two years ago, then didn't go further. Not this time!
I was going to do water aerobics, but the pool was closed because of a storm last night, so I walked.

I completed day 1 yesterday. I plan on doing day 2 outside this afternoon, if the weather cooperates. I prefer doing the distance walks outside - it's very motivating!

I told myself NO EXCUSES... but... yesterday I was ill with tummy troubles (didn't want to puke on the treadmill - ooops TMI sorry!) and today I woke up with terrible back pain (from lying in bed all day yesterday!!).... tomorrow I WILL do Week 2 Day 2!!! 1.5 miles in 30 minutes. I even have a new book on my iPad to read! Hope you're all gettin' er done!! emoticon

Starting Week 2 today! I am doing this on the treadmill at the gym as my neighborhood is not safe to walk alone. Plus with the wether being in the high 90s - 100, I'd rather do this inside. My normal distance, pace & time is 1.5 miles @ 3mph for 30 minutes so this week will start off as a normal workout, but I am looking forward to doing more! I have plenty of books on my iPad to keep me going!

Walked 1.5 miles today in 35 minutes for day 1 of week 2. The nice thing about today's walk is that a year ago I participated in a walk for Autism that followed this path. I only walked .75 (once around the lake) can not tell you how long it took me, but can tell you I stopped several times and had a hard time breathing. Today, it was a nice walk felt like I was pushing myself. As the first lap was done in 14 minutes, so that means the second one was 21.

Day 2 I am afraid of as I haven't walked that far yet. Guess I don't know if I can do it if I don't try.

I completed Week 2 Part 2 of 3 - Walk 1.75 miles... I walked 1.76 miles in 35 minutes! I feel GREAT! A lot warmer tonight... It was 35 and felt like 26... ::smirk:: I had kind of a discouraging day since at my weigh in my weight went up... Now I have a renewed since of confidence and motivation... KEEP SPARKIN!!!!
