I started my training program yesterday by walking for a full 15 minutes, which ended up being just under a mile (0.96 miles). My calves were BURNING when I got home, but oddly enough they don't hurt today (unusual because I have fibromyalgia, and the burning is an indication I overdid it, which always results in massive amounts of pain the next day). I'm using MapMyRun.com to map my walks ahead of time so I know where I need to walk to to get the distance I need to get. Long as the weather holds out we should be fine. lol
