Cross training is anything that uses the muscles differently. So cross training for a walker could mean strength training, biking, swimming, dancing, elliptical, stair stepper, etc. Doing cross training allows for muscle confusion which keeps the body burning more calories in the long run.

Stopped because life got in the way. I am going to try to do it all this time, but can someone tell me what cross training is,please. I have never been an exercise fan before so really am not sure Thanks
