Day 1 - 1.5 miles

I started my morning with the 10- minute yoga fusion video. I am obese, and no I could not completely perform all of the poses. But I did finish the workout which gave me a good gentle stretch and set me up for my Day 1 walk.

Hello everyone, This is my second time through the program. This year I am wearing a spark activity tracker, which automatically uploads my activity, but not to the 5K tracker. How do I get it to upload there, so I get credit for it but am not making it look like I took two walks on my fitness activity?

I am on day 3 of this first week. I love to walk so am hoping this will help me be successful getting to a 5 K. I think I have been walking to frequently and notice the day rest does help my joints from aching as much.

I have mapped a route starting from my house down the street for a 2 mile walk and I am using that so far. I have a lake near that route which is 2.49 miles around with a bike trail. People jog, walk their dogs, walk, and ride their bikes around it. I want to start doing that lap 3 times a week with jogging. I first have to walk it without feeling overheated.

Just technically finished Week 1. I feel really good. Sunday I was unable to walk due to a migraine so I made it up on Monday by walking 1.25 miles, then Tuesday I walked 0.50 miles, Wednesday I walked 2.55 miles, Thursday I walked 3.10 miles, Friday I did not walk, and then Today I walked 2.11 miles. I am really hoping that Week 2 I am able to keep up the stamina that am this week. I wish that everyone else is able to do just as well if not better than myself.

My walking is going well. I just wish it was warmer, so I could walk outside instead of using the treadmill.
