Ahhh, it's day 2 of my GOYB streak!. I had to be careful with the side bends because of my tempermental lower back and current stiff neck, but I tightened my abs and did five VERY GENTLY each side every time I took a break. I did at least 5 sets - perhaps as many as 10. It has inspired me so much I'm about to go downstairs and do some of the back exercises I've been avoiding. I think I'll start with just the hamstring stretches, easy bridges, and a little foam rolling on the sore spot. Thanks for this thread - it's really helping me to get the ball (gently) rolling.
