I spent two almost three days on my butt and it was driving me up the wall. I had shoulder surgery on Friday and so that day was gone.
Then Saturday I was still on the pain meds. Ugh. I felt dopey all day.
Then Sunday I watched the idiot box until the Ravens came on. I got one of the boys to help me set up my bike on the trainer and I would pedal throughout the game, off and on.
It felt good.
Monday I walked two miles in the rain to get a haircut and shampoo.
Tuesday I walked 3.6 miles then I rode with my son to the community college to get him registered for the GED and I left him there and walked home, 1.4 miles. Total 5 miles.
Today, I walked another 4 miles.
I can't wait until running gets green lighted. Though I must admit there is a certain something about walking that is missing in running.
I had almost forgotten.
Maybe this shoulder injury was was way of forcing me to slow down a little; it forced me to take a break.
