Sorry, I don't have any websites for you, but what a great idea for the classroom and home!

I believe in taking a positive attitude toward the world. My hope still is to leave the world a little bit better than when I got here.

I love teaching nutrition to my students (1st grade level). Last week during some free time, I introduced them to the new USDA Food Plate. We talked about food groups and which foods are in which groups. I ended the lesson by giving each student a plate to color. It was a great lesson.

I've had THREE parents call and thank me for the lesson! The students are talking about healthy foods at home and are using the worksheet as a placemat at the table. Now they want more! Anyone know some great websites for teaching nutrition?

Thanks.
