Moderation and stopping after just one
I need to get back to my eating plan as prescribed by Dr. K. The holidays always derail me--this year not as much but still somewhat. I feel so much better when I eat "clean" (whole foods, no refined sugar). I'm thankful for SP for keeping me in line. LOL Here's to a Happy and Healthy New Year!
I'm not sure if it would be called a healthy eating strategy, but in 2014, I would like to be able to avoid the free food that is always in the teacher's lounge. It derails me every time! I have tried just eating it in moderation, but that doesn't work for me. Any suggestions on how to do this?
I try to avoid going in the lounge if at all possible. If I have to go in I make my copies or whatever and then get out. I sit away from the food if I eat lunch in there (but sometimes I eat in my room). Luckily this school has food only occasionally. My old school had food every day!
Tracking everything and fruits and veggies, I think
A bit of everything...consistency!!!
Amen & ditto to the "avoiding the lounge" comments! I'm starting to be thankful that my room is as far away from the lounge as you can be!
My goal is to track everything so I can look for patterns & learn from them. Happy 2014!
All of the above and mostly avoiding getting caught without healthy alternatives at hospitals/school/pool etc. I had that conquered and wasn't having this problem but then I got busy and more and more crises situations happened and I started backsliding under stress.
Tracking everything. I have to start bringing my lunch with me to school or I am doomed.
Really concentrating on those vegetables!
