I signed up for this yesterday... pledged to lose 25 pounds which seems like a doable first step. I wasn't sure of the timeline for losing or if there was one!

I wasn't thinking that I would fail per se....more of the fact that I lost inches and gained weight before.....I just didn't want to take food from ppl... quite literally!

i dont think anything happens. its just a goal to reach for, if you dont reach it your not going to be penalised. but you shouldnt have that way of thinking (im gunna fail) you cant go into with that frame of mind otherwise you might fail. i know you can do it, it will take work, self control, but u can do it love! add me for extra support. im here for you!!

I was wondering if anyone on our team is interested in doing this challenge. It is sponsored by the Biggest Looser, yoplait, subway, and others and they will donate 14 cents (about the cost for a pound of food) for every pound lost from now until June 30, 2010. If you aren't able to participate, please tell your friends that might be interested :)

If you are in maintenance mode - or actually trying to gain muscle at this point in time and not lose the pounds there are other ways to help out. There are options to directly give money, to volunteer, and to send this page to a friend under the "About pound for pound" link at the top of the page.

I think I'm going to go in for my remaining few pounds that I want to shed and finally hit my goal after all these years of being on Spark. I can totally do this by the summer. I just have to focus! I really think I needed this kind of goal to help me out. This program is "bigger" than just me, by me droping the weight I'm going to be able to help someone who needs food!
