MIMI_B, you're doing aaaaawesome on the colors! I think using that as a challenge is GREAT. I totally need to work on this (I eat the same fruits/veggies all the time). This has me motivated to try some new stuff on my salad tonight. I'll post today's results later.

Let's just post here... I thought maybe it was confusing in July and that's why there weren't too many ppl that joined in. Maybe this will be simpler to have just one thread to post discussion and our logs.
I was also thinking of tabulating everyone's exercise minutes at the end of each week (Sat or Sun maybe), so we can have a running total to refer to... might also be motivating to compare to others. We did that a while back with the challenges... I was always stoked when I was in the top 5 for exercise minutes! :-)

Please come join us in a challenge that will bring your summer to a strong, healthy finish!! There will be a new thread shortly for the August Challenge. Hope to see many, many more join in!
For this challenge, let's post our fitness activities and push ourselves to do at least one fitness activity per day... EVERY DAY! That could be some form of cardio (post with # of minutes) or as little as one set of a strength exercise (post with # of reps)!!
For the second part of the challenge, let's focus on eating a well-rounded diet... one interesting way I've heard about to get lots of different types of vitamins and minerals is to eat many different COLORS of fruits and veggies b/c the color often corresponds to a different nutrient. So, post the colors of the fruits and veggies you ate every day.
This should be interesting! Are you ready? STARTS TOMORROW!!!
