I think it is a good idea as I know I don't track my cardio very well.

It's worth it to not give it up. I don't gain when I don't track (just maintain), but I don't lose either.

Maybe that will keep me tracking what I eat. I find it does take some time to enter everything you eat.

I stayed at 142 from November to February. Finally started losing again in March when I (lo and behold!) started tracking my food again :)

I'm going to try the April challenge as well. I start a new job this month, so I need some motivation. Calories in and calories burned sounds good. I'll post as often as I can.

I like the calories in vs. calories out idea. Maybe, since we all have different weight loss calorie intake ranges we could do the following:

Post the amount of calories you burned via cardio each day, plus indicate whether or not you stayed in your calorie range for that day.

You would get 1 point for every calorie burned via cardio and also 200 points for each day that you stay in your SP calorie range.

Obviously, if you eat less calories than SP suggests then you would still get the 200 points.

What do people think of this idea? I think it would be helpful for me because when I actually stay in my SP calorie intake range and exercise regularly, I DO lose weight! Lately, I have been a bit lax about my eating - regularly going over by a couple hundred calories or so each day... As a result, I have not really lost any weight for the past several months! :(

Let me know what you guys think - any suggestions/modifications are welcome! :)

I'm in and I am in for the whole month not just the first 2 days like months gone by. I have to admit that I am not unhappy with my progress for the fact that I gained nothing over the winter and don't feel like I was deprived over the winter. I am ready to get my but to the TM every morning. This is really hard for me because my bed is so nice and warm and it has been so cold outside.

Sounds good, how about calories input vs output. See how many we really do burn in a day.

Summer is creeping ever closer and I SO want to REALLY focus during the month of April and try to lose this last 10 or so pounds (or at least 5!)

Any ideas for an April Challenge?
