That puppy didn't like the smell of a farm. She was just too nervous. So we are still looking. I drink coffee and am naturally hyper active when I feel good. I had trouble when I was younger as I had issues sitting still. emoticon

Crazy busy of course. Walked water line to pasture field and found leak. I put in computer a bunch of bills. Discussed computer and printer options with my farm school instructor. We are going to see a puppy at the animal shelter after bit. I hope she is a good fit for us. I am really missing Ginger that passed away about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. I love their faithfulness, hugs and sloppy kisses along with helping here on the farm with herding animals. emoticon This is only a portion of what I need to get done. There is always the laundry, dishes, house cleaning, cleaning up the yard, plant the garden as soon it is worked up, help hubby working ground to plant new seeding and corn, etc.

God bless you and hold you in the palm of his hand!

Getting there. I've got a bunch of weddings and open houses coming up. Between that and trying to get my yard and house in order and all the sub dates that I'm all of a sudden getting. I'm going to be busy for the next 2 months.

Getting ready for a convention and have been crazy trying to get merchandise design and ordering completed. Taking care of mother as needed since a surgery. Running kids to dance 5 days a week (plus all their other activities). Need to get house reorganization done before May 26 so the family can enjoy the convention and then roll right into MIL visiting and dance recital week. Oh, and should be working on financial information for another group I volunteer with. Know I've missed something.

I await June 14 when a chunk of this will be done!

Yes,crazy busy. I am dairy farmer's wife. I need to cut grass, pay bills, house work, plant my garden, keep barn ready for milk inspector, run errands- personal and business, catch up cow records, get ready for rummage & bake sale in 2 weeks. Of course file papers, get ready for the vet to come next week for herd health (check pregnant cows, and other necessary things to keep a cow healthy), actively looking for a puppy or two to help out. Get Mother's Day cards, find something for hubby for anniversary and birthday. I am sure I missed something along the way. emoticon

OK, besides all the stuff I need to do, DH's nurse has been out and will be for the next 2 weeks, so I have been "filling in", that is I have put in 35 hours this week already! Laundry, house cleaning, grocery shopping? Doesn't exist right now, 2 graduations to get ready for, CRAZY BUSY is putting it mildly! Unfortunately, I don't lose any weight working 10 hour days.

No not crazy busy. I quit my job in February which appears to be a blessing in disguise as when I went and visited my mom she ended up in the hospital with heart problems where they put a pacemaker in. So, I am here once again. (I was here two years ago for two and a half years taking care of her) and am here watching over her and doing things for her that she would like done but cannot do.
So no, not crazy busy but out of sorts and trying to rebuild my life here. Here being not my home.

Nope. Not crazy busy -- and, part of that is by choice.

I have become very aware, in recent years, of how stress triggers illness for me, and how stress management encourages wellness. I am very careful regarding what I say "yes" to, and what I say "no" to.

My kids are grown -- in their young 20's, and finished high school. Neither one is pursing college in the traditional way, so it will be at least two or 3 years before either one graduates from college.

Also, because of a disability (multiple sclerosis), I receive SSDI and am not employed. I still volunteer outside the home, usually daily. But, I choose how much or little time I am able to give to that, and I take care of my health and make sure that I get my one or two necessary naps every day.

Not everyone has the luxury to not be employed. But, we all have 24 hours in a day, and, we all have some input in how we spend those and in what we decide we just don't have time to say "yes" to.

I don't have kids or friends with kids, but I got a really big client who is working under a tight publication deadline just as I was moving. Friday evening we unloaded 50 boxes into my living room, so I'm alternating unpacking with research for my client... and another client who needs something small but needs it NOW.

OMG crazy busy! 2 graduations this month, plus I'm working for 2 different nurses who are out this month. I have to drive down to Billings to pick up DD#1 and grandparents, and then turn around in 3 days and take them back. (2 hr drive to airport) But the Women's Run in Billings is Saturday and I got out and did 6 miles. Last chance to get out before then!

When am I going to get the house cleaned?
