My nephew called his mom and told her he had proposed to his girlfriend! He said April Fools' quickly though.
My best prank was to put string (clean cotton) in some pancakes one year. My DS caught on quick but my DD swallowed it before I could stop her. She still remembers that and brings it up every now and then. It was over 15 years ago!

One of my sister's friends posted a pic on fb of a positive pregnancy test and then put "Oh my!" She is in her mid forty's with 3 teenage boys. After many comments, questions, etc., she had to fess up and just wrote in capitals "Happy April Fool's Day". Lol
Late last night (officially still April Fools Day), DS asked me in an alarmed voice if our young neighbor's truck was in the driveway across the street. I said I was pretty sure it was. THEN, DS reads me a FB status of how the friend was waiting in the ER & watching his truck being towed away on a flatbed truck. We were both running to the window to see if it was across the street. I remembered what day it was. DS still went across the street in the dark, to make sure the truck was still in the driveway from when I'd seen it before. Hats off to the neighbor kid!! He had us a going there for a minute.
Any other April Fools jokes that were pulled yesterday??

That's pretty funny, Elisa. Trying to picture someone actually doing that is funny, too. Ever wonder who it is who comes up with these types of things in the first place?? A science class, or someone with too much time on their hands??
My DH is one of those ppl who can play a good phone prank on his mom for April Fools Day, all without flinching. There is NO WAY I could do something like that! I am one to laugh so much when telling a joke, that no one can hear me tell the punch line.
Our absolute favorite of pranks (and this only worked before they invented caller ID) was when DH called his mom from work (of all things, he was in the break room and had an audience...yet STILL was able to pull this off without laughing). He called her and disguised his voice. He said he was the neighbor, and she'd better go check her driveway b/c her car was left running in the driveway. She went out to check the driveway. The really funny part of this is that DH said his name was EV'ryYear IGotchaGin. Now, the fast way that he said his name, it sounded a bit like he was saying Xzavier (am I spelling that right??) Then, of course, when she got back on the phone to talk with the "neighbor" (b/c she had actually left the phone off the hook & went to check the driveway), she knew that it was her son and he'd fooled her AGAIN. She got so she'd tell us looooong before April Fools Day that she was NOT going to be answering the phone ALL day, so DH wouldn't be able to do his usual phone prank. BUT, the day would come around and she'd end up picking up the phone anyway. Poor ma. Caller ID ended those phone pranks. DH tried calling from my cell phone once (thinking that she wouldn't recognize the #) , but she was too smart and figured out whose cell it was.
Tell us some of your pranks....your friends pranks,....kids....anyone....anything. Share a with us all.......
