I am not sure if it counts but...I usually plan 3 swims a week but in reality usually only get 2 in. I did a 3rd one today for the first time in 2 or more months so... 50 minutes of swimming.emoticon

OMG!! Sugar, please don't cry!!
In all your busy activities you can try some squats, calves raises etc..
a few sets of simple exercises.You don't have to find the full ten mins
just do something extra, push it in between your schedule!

This morning the weather is beautiful here!

you may have wondered what the heck happened to me. well, I am still finding it difficult to add minutes to my routine. now, I caught a cold on Sunday and just have not had the energy to do extra. I can still manage to do my normal routine, but at a lower intesity. so, this challenge for me has gone belly up.

My cardio usually consists of doing a DVD with the same number of minutes. But I could just keep going for 5-10 minutes longer. Or I can add a quick walk up and down the stairs or up and down the hill I live on. We'll see how that works.

Two-week challenge starting Monday, October 10.

Ending Monday, October 24.

You may join at any time....

Increase the amount of cardio you are doing.

Please post the Increased cardio minutes.

For example, if my two-week cardio goal is 100 extra minutes, I would try to log in 100 or more extra minutes for that period. Or my goal could be to do an extra 10 minutes of cardio per day. Then the next day, increase it to 15 minutes. Or walk an extra half mile per day. Or . . .?

-- Challenge yourself!

If there are questions, please ask.

Any kind of cardio counts toward your goal - just get your heart rate up and keep moving!

As BRANDTSGIRL says, "For those who already do cardio have a boost it up a bit if we already do 60 a day up it 5+more a day. Or if they do 30 minutes a day the same, boost it up. If they walk 3 miles a day say go a little bit further."
