They are just plastic syringes filled with cream that you rub into your forearm. I could not do needles too! I went through alot of blood work to see where my levels are. They make this in a compounding lab. Of course our insurance does not pay a dime. I'm still waiting to see what changes may or might not happen. I think it's called the Wiley protocol. I will keep yah posted.

Yeah LINK, we would like more info. emoticon

I think the syringes do not come with needles. It is a 'container' to put the proper amount of hormones in.

Ok, forgive my ignorance, but.. if the side effects are hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain and the like, then what is the purpose of taking them, if not to relieve these symptoms already?

I'm waiting to see how well it works, though I couldn't do needles.

LINKO38,
What exactly are you taking?
Is it Bio Hormones it's self?

Let me know how it works out.

Finally the medicine arrived. All 12 neatly packed syringes. I have read the book of warnings and side effects. The side effects are hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain, or loss. But in my case probably the opposite. Today is the second day. For some reason I felt exhausted. I slept for 4 hours and could have slept all day. I forced myself to get up to eat. The doctor wants me to eat five small meals a day. Sometimes that's just not feasible. I hope this Hormone stuff works. I will be happier and so will my husband. I had a hysterectomy 8 years ago and have really needed something to help.
