I no longer snack. Not because I would not like to, but because i am in recovery from a 28 year relentless battle with my eating disorder. As such I have totally changed my diet, and while many things that are now gone were my lifelong favorites, they are like crack to me, and it would be like saying' oh go on, just a teeny bit of crack never hurt anyone'.

I am now a vegan, who also eliminated wheat, flour and sugar, which are all my triggers for massive binging.
Whether years down the line I will be able to have those things again, remains to be seen, but I may have to forever be abstinant from the things that send me into a feeding frenzy.

I don't plan my snacks like I should. I eat meals at kitchen table but not snacks. Usually in the car,in front of the computer or in our dairy barn. I try to have yogurt smoothies, some type of a fruit like cherries, raspberries, watermelon, muskmelon, peaches, etc. Love my fruit!!

I plan alot of my snacks. So I have healthy foods around me. I eat them where ever. At computer, on the go, watching tv or at the table.

I snack on handy stuff. I plan most of my snacks. Usually some carbs in the morning with my tea. I try to use nuts in the afternoon. Actually eating snacks outside the kitchen helps as most of my impulse snacks occur when I am working or going through the kitchen!

I do snack and it varies. Because of some recent issues, crackers play a role in the snacks as do Luna and Clif Mojo Bars. I work so a lot of snacks are at work and sometimes an evening snack before working out.

I'm single so I rarely eat at the table. I know what they say, but I eat in front of the TV unless I have company, then I prefer to eat and talk. Even if I ate at the table, my apartment is such that it would still be in front of the TV. Honestly, I don't think I eat more or faster because I'm watching a show.

Hello ladies - I am a pumpkin seed freak. They are so filling. I get the ones without the salt. Most of my snack are whole grains, fruit, kale chips and the like since I am vegan. The pumpkin seeds are my key to success. I can grab a couple and graze throughout the day and I feel full and satisfied and the weight is falling off.

When traveling, I am good about my snacks, and they're usually fruit (cherries lately - yum!). When at home, though, I'm not quite so good - tends to be crackers (rice crackers, so not horribly high in fat and calories).

I rarely eat at a table - snacks or meals. :(

My snacks are eaten as I'm walking around, or at the computer. I stick to having fruit, granola bar, yogurt, or cheese. Once in awhile we will have potato chips in the house & they will call to me (like they did yesterday, grrrr). In which case, I make sure to have a serving size and count it in the food tracker...so I am not over-doing it. If I indulge, it's going to be a serving size...and that's it. Eating at the table happens for me only half the time.

When I am strictly on "low carb" I have a handful of nuts, cheese (love Laughing Cow,) or an Atkins bar. I also like raw veggies, like carrots in hummus or fruit. Pretzels with mustard or dip is my favorite carb snack that I occasionally splurge on.

I eat my snacks wherever I am, but would like to get out of that habit and eat solely at the table, since one of my goals is to eat mindfully.

I do have snacks and it depends on what it is.
Some time it's a veggie and protein as SP says for the snack ideas or I have a piece of fruit.
I don't have a specific place to eat it.

Do you eat snacks? If so, what? Also, do you eat sitting at the table or ???

ECONLADY suggested this, "only eating food at the table (including snacks)" as a possible challenge.

for me: I LOVE eating snacks. However, sometimes, I feel 'stuck' to the kitchen, when I'd rather be doing other things. I snack on just about anything and everything. Although I check out my veggie bin first to see if there is anything to snack on, first.

Sometimes I actually eat while pacing ~~ so I can get my steps in. Also, sometimes I snack while working on SP.
