Thanks everyone for your support & encouragement! I still haven't made the best choices yet. But getting there! I haven't been eating too bad. I think one key is remembering...remember how bad you felt at your heaviest/unhealthiest/biggest? Never forget how miserable it felt to wear clothes that were too tight, how winded you were going up a flight of stairs, how frustrated you were when you cant get your shoes on because you're literally in your own way!

Also remember & never forget how good you feel now (or felt before you fell back off the wagon). How good does it feel to have friends, family, doctors tell you how good you look and how healthy you are? How good (or embarrassing?)does it feel when you put something in your pants pocket and have the pants almost fall off because they're so loose? How good does it feel to be able to carry a big box that no one else could get because you are stronger?
Keeping these memories alive will drive me to success!

Have a good one!
Kay

I'm just getting back on the wagon too... let's stick with it this time!

What a drag to hit the scale on Sunday to find out all my hard work was eradicated by a few months of not paying attention! At least I know now that I cannot keep the pounds off without checking in all the time. So that is my plan.

It's hard to beat a person who never gives up.

Hi Kay! Whatever you need from me to help you get back on track, just let me know! This is a difficult journey for many of us, so I am happy to do whatever I can to help. What drives you? What helped you stay on track before? We're in this together!

Hey everyone. You all probably noticed that I haven't been here in a while. A long while. Well because I haven't done "my program", I'm just about back to where I started almost 3 years ago! My clothes are tight (I REFUSE to buy bigger sizes!!), I feel awful, and I'm really out of shape. My food portions and choices have been out of control.

So, let's try this again, shall we? I do know what I need to do; it has worked before. The challenging part is getting back to it, which is what I'm trying to do now!

I've been taking a "personal retreat" this weekend, just to take stock of where I am, how I got there and where I want to be.

I really need to be accountable to you all. We are a team, after all, right?

So, feel free to look at my nutrition/fitness logs and yell, cheer me on...

I'm back!
Kay
