Because my body is basically small like most of us here, i found for the first 4 months or so i stayed with about 1000 calories a day. i made sure i got exercise and that seemed to work.
Unfortunately, those of us that are petite it's so much easier to gain weight and so much harder to lose it too simply because we don't have the "mass" to work with.
Please hang on, you're doing really well. It just takes time and remember this isn't a fix, it's a forever! I've been about the same weight for close to two months now. Believe me, I feel your frustration!!!!

Be patient and don't give up. Are u logging down everything u eat? It took me over a month before i saw results, and writing everything down has helped me a lot. Now i'm losing about 1lb/week. You can do this!!!

Jill, if U R full it is good to stop eating. But you have to feed your body! You don't want your metabolism to power down because you aren't getting enough calories. A piece of fruit, some veggie sticks, a yogurt. Plan your food so that you are eating all that you need, even if it is "snacking" all day. Just something to power up ... Be patient, keep walking! Also add a few weights to process. More muscle is more efficient. Keep up the good work! TTLee

Jill it took me 3-6 weeks to see the scale move...I've been doing this 5 months...I'm down 26 pounds, but I've gone from a TIGHT 14 to a fitting 8. Be patient! It will happen. Take your measurements, they will move even when the scale doesn't!
Hi! Don't give up! So far you are doing really great =) How are your sodium levels? I notice that if i go above 1800 mg of sodium, I hold water and that shows on the scale. Also, if you aren't eating enough, your body will hold onto the fat so you really want to make sure you up your calories. I was staying the same when i was taking in 1200-1300 calories but with as much as I exercise I now take in around 1400-1600 and have been losing consistently. Good luck and keep up the good work!
Keep going! I am in the same boat but have been working out 6 days a week and limited my soda intake and watching portions and have lost inches. You may gain muscle (especially if a Germanic/Keltic girl like me) and even gain a little at first. However, eventually that muscle burns calories and we'll both learn what our trigger foods are. If you need a buddy we can cheer one another on. I need someone to force me to log food daily too anyway.
I am hoping you may have some advice after losing the first few days [water weight] the scale has not moved. Now I know it has only been a week ,but I am losing motivation. I don't belong to a gym right now, so i have been walking and doing some of the sparks videos . I have been tracking and not getting enough calories according to sparks But I am really full. I have spent so much time learning not to eat when I am full.
