Congratulations!! I see you lost weight since you posted in March. I'm going on a cruise this May with the family and I want to lose as much FAT as I can before going, so I'm doing everything I can:
1. I'm eating clean
2. I'm doing cardio every day
3. I'm weight training
4. I'm logging in sparkpeople every day for motivation.
It's a 4 day cruise, I don't think I will go to the gym, but I will try to be very active on the cruise, and on the beach with the kids and husband.
I'm Joon. I'm 5'.

I have never been on a cruise but have heard that they have a lot of activities to keep you active (gym, pool) as well as a wide selection of fruit and vegetables. And of course, have fun!

Don't you want some bunny to love?
Hubby and I went on a cruise last November and I managed to avoid gaining much. The gym was really nice, but I spent more time just walking laps around the decks and enjoying the scenery. Avoid the buffet tables since that's where you can go crazy with huge portions. And avoid all the "drink of the day" specials. Alcohol is a lot of calories and no nutritional value. We ate in the dining room several times and they have "spa choices" on the menu that are healthier options. Plus even though there are 4 courses at the dining room, the portions aren't too huge. They even had sugar-free and reduced calorie desserts so I got to indulge a little! Have fun!

Find time every day to take advantage of the workout facilites. EVERY DAY. And if you put it in your mouth LOG IT. Practice portion control, have a couple things you can't resist, watch those "liquid" calories, load up on veggies and fruits whenever you can and have a great time!!!
If you want to be somebody else
Change your mind...
gotta agree with you portion control is the big issue and of course how you prepare it ........
Live for Today because tomorrow is only a promise
Hi! Hope you don't mind that I looked at your nutrition tracker and have a suggestion. Why don't you cut out the bad carbs. Sugary drinks, fried potatoes, chips, etc and replace them with good carbs. Learning to eat healthier will help you with continued success towards you weight loss goal and beyond.
Congrats on your weight loss so far!

D-I-E-T does not mean "Do I Eat Today?"
Hey Love - As an experienced cruiser (and younger than many who say that) it will actually be easier than you think. Portion sizes are smaller in the dining rooms than you think. The catch is that you can order more than one appetizers/entrees/desserts - so resist. I also agree with the track it all comment. This site and the tracking has been my saving grace!
Most ships today also have pretty decent gyms so take advantage of it.
We have some tips and tricks so if you want more scoop email me. Have a ton of fun - each one we have been on has been a blast!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
Be disciplined about using the nutrition tracker.

"I can and will succeed!"
Just eat part of the meal instead of the whole thing. Remember portion control and you should do fine. I hope you have a great time!!
