I bought mine at Target for about $30. It does body fat and body water and seems to be really accurate. I like that it stores all the important information so I don't have to keep re-entering it. It will also keep track of up to 4 people which is nice too.

That sounds like the one I bought for my daughter. She likes it. I want one that says I weigh 110. Can I put in a request?

Yes, that's what I have...Tanita. I'm not sure how accurate the body fat % is, but I love the other functions.

I took the splurge a few years back and bought a Tanita. I got frustrated with my old cheap scale always bouncing around in values. The Tanita seems to be more consistent. I bought it at a fitness store.

FREECLOUD Oh how cool. What you can find for under $50 which is now getting to be $25. I bought one of the first ones that cost $100. that did body fat back when my daughter was 6 and she is not 18 so that was many years ago.

Hi Amanda, Before you go shopping for a scale, decide what you want it to do for you. The one I have allows you to put in your age, height, and activity level. Then you weigh yourself and get your weight, body fat %, and how many calories you need to ingest per day to maintain that weight.

WalMart and Target both have a good variety. Or you can order online (ie Amazon). I got mine at Brookstone, I think.

First you are starving your body if your food tracker is right. I said that right. not because of you low calorie intake but because of your lack of nutrition. a candybar for lunch? Where are the a's and c's. How do you expect to get any thing out of your body unless you feed it nutrition. I am working with some one that was in the high 500's and is now in the 400s. The first thing we did is stop starving him. Look for those green items and I'm not talking 1 c. of lettuce. Did you see the thing on the health channel about the 1/2 ton man? At 1000 pounds how could you be starving? green M & M's don't count as a green item. My husband says they should but sorry. Am I going to tell you to eat chicken? no I am just going to as you where have all the fruits and veggies gone. Take that peanutbutter and put it on apple slices not a proccessed bread item. French Fries??? Be very careful of things that come out of a deep frier. Green green green I love subway because spinage can be put into their salads. I don't use dressings just pile on the tomatoes and pickles. You have to eat and what I tell Scott it to eat in color. Yes my husband tells me brown is in the box of colors so chocolate is a color. He thinks he is funny and I just love him. I too am a coffee drinker but I also get that water in. I am not yelling at you but you asked. Please come join us eaters. This morning I had a couple of cups of coffee an apple w/ 2 T of peanutbutter, a banana, Lunch was a bowl of butternut squash w/ soy cheese. and I know dinner will include carrots and pineapple. A lot of the time I have an oat something in the morning. Hope this helps. I am on the road with you. I am taking up or at least trying to take up running.

The last time I bought a scale I found it at Wal-Mart. Come to think of it, I bought my food scale there, too.
