2012 wasn't my year! I started and stopped trying to be healthy a few time. I never did get focused and really try.. but 2013 is a very important year with many family events on the calendar already.. So here is to starting anew and sticking to my goals for the new year!
Well, let's just say I am really looking forward to a great new year! I have spent the last couple of years taking care of my mother (she passed away earlier this year). I am ready to turn it around and take care of myself in all sorts of ways! Forgiving myself for all the past mistakes. I intend to slow down, pay attention, and do all the things that I know I need to do to take care of myself and my dear husband! Looking forward with a "new attitude"!

Terrible. This was a very hard year and I totally neglected my health. I actually gained weight, so much that I can't even zip up my winter coat. I feel totally ashamed and filled with self-hatred. I'm working on forgiving myself, and I really want 2013 to be about taking good care of myself.
Now that the new year is almost upon us, how did you do with your weight-loss goals this year?
