Sticking to a sleep schedule seems to help me alot and watching what i eat or drink around bed time.

I have been doing some cardio kickboxing routines lately. i love how it involves cardio and strength. Interval training is also a great way to burn calories.

Don't forget to be awesome.

about 2 weeks or so ago, i fell and hurt my ribs, but then a few days later, i tried some new machines at the y and since i haven't been able to do anything.

it has gotten to the point, i'm tired of not doing anything, it hurts to walk for very long, so i'm up to any suggestions of simple exercises that a person with very brused ribs might be able to do.

ahhh Drea it's such a breath of fresh air to see you around again...

1st stop saying you hate yourself. We all go through this life change and battle. BUT what can you do now??? How can you make small changes now. For example I hadn't exercised in months, then I decided to challenge myself to do 10min a day and create a challenge to have my spark friends apart of the challenge with me.

My goal is to work on that 1 goal all month, and then add to it next month. For next month I will create a new goal for myself and go from there.

Try writing down some ideas and share it with us.

I need all the motivation I can get. I am back at my starting weight, 186, and I am not happy about it. I know all the tools of losing weight and being healthy and yet I still don't do it. How do you keep going? How do you not lapse into that popcorn/ice cream every night, soda for dinner, and not exercising routine? I hate myself when I do it, but I still do it.

I need help!!!!! My first step was to come back to Spark, so here I am. I am going to go for a run after I get off the computer, so there is that. Now how do I do this every day?

By the way, MISSED YOU NEWMEFOREVER! xoxoxo -Andrea

Hey MSYATES04 I would suggest monitoring in a notebook or something your eating and mood for a week straight. Then go over your notes a week later to see how your eating and what times of the day/night your eating. There may be somethings you can change or substitute for something healthier.

I would also suggest reading some of the articles on spark about breaking plateaus and pitfalls here

Also try measurement tape instead of the scale

I hope this helps

It's not that I am not motivated, I am, I get in my workout daily, be it riding my bike of the WATP dvd, eat my veggies and lean meats basically trying to do what it takes to get healthy and fit, but the scale isn't moving, I have been between these 2 and 3 lbs for a while now loose it gain it, I upped my workout with no change, I do get side tracked a little @ times, not enough to keep me from losing, I say why am I depriving myself of the things I love, candies, cake, ice etc. cream, and getting no where , could that bowl of cereal @ 11:00 pm be keeping me from reaching my goal, what am I doing wrong or what can I do right to move forward on this journey, is losing 7 lbs since April the normal. Is there anyone else here experiencing the same thing.

you must FOCUS = (F)ollow (O)ne (C)ourse (U)ntil (S)uccessful! Ready set GO!
