Did not succeed at this one.
i did well at exercise but i did not eat properly. i do eat a good amount of fruits and veggies but do not watch portions on fatty or sugary foods.

My weight in date is Wednesday. I hope I be back home by then. I might be stuck at work for a few days due to the storm. I have my suitcase packed for at least 3 days. I hope I don't have to be away from home pass Wednesday.

This time I can say I did it!

I weighed 173 on 9/26 and 170 on 10/6, and I'm now at 164.

So I either lost 9 or 6 pounds.

emoticon WoW!! Only one week left!!

I am down 4 lbs in October. No where near my goal. So, while sitting here trying to decide what to blog, I evaluated what has changed this month, beyond the numbers on the scale..

I have dramatically increased my daily water intake...plus! I have taken vitamins everyday...plus! I have been too busy lately, and have not been getting in my eating small portions of protein/carbs every 2-3 hrs, leaving me hungry, and therefore maybe eating too much or too late in the evening...negative..BUT... In this falter, I have learned the importance and effectiveness that it brings to my success in weight loss....plus!! I now have realized, that when I eat small amounts, often, I DO NOT feel as hungry, I keep my blood sugar stable which allows me to eat less, end up eating better, and as weird as this is, the more I eat, the more weight I lose...plus!!

So, before I go off the deep end, and feel bad about not having lost as much weight, I have decided to take the lesson I have learned and be sure I apply it in this final week of the month, and moving forward in my weight loss journey...

I mean, this is a journey right?? ..Examining what works for us, and what doesn't..what keeps us on the path..even our mental attitude - negative self-deprecating talk, or a positive attitude and learning from our mistakes... Success is a choice..

(I just think I wrote my Blog for today! hee hee)

Keep on keeping ON!! You're my Inspiration!!

Beautiful day yesterday so after raking a while I took a 10 minute walk.
Today did an extra 10 on the treadmill. It has turned out to be a nice day so may take a short walk.

Have I been the only yoyo this month? at least as of today I at a 2 pound loss. I'm challenging myself (with in Dr's strict parameters) to do an extra 10 minutes exercise each day now through the 31.
Anyone want to walk an extra 10 minutes a day with me? emoticon

Well my weigh in date is not until Wednesday. In the meantime I'm trying to stay active in between a lack of sleep since Thursday last week. I have manage to get some activity in, but the rest is more important in order me to function like a regular human. I'm must say that I had a great time Saturday the 13th. I participated in our county 7th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fitness 5k Walk. This was my first year and I'm already looking forward to next years event. They also, had Zumba on the lawn before and after the event. OMG! That was right up my alley. Since joining a live Zumba classes I'm addictive. Last Tuesday I did 2 hours of Zumba. I just can't stop myself. lol My eyes are set on a Breast Cancer Boot Camp next Saturday. Go Team! emoticon emoticon We are doing a great job. emoticon

Technically, I'm down 7 lbs and very excited. But, I've been at this long enough to know it's not all "real weight." That said, I'll take it and any more lbs that want to fall off!

A week & half in (including a Holiday :) I am only down 1.3 lbs when goal was 2.5/week, so time to tighten the belt (hee hee I'm hopin')... I have greatly improved in the water department, and have been managing my 8 a day for the last 4 days (hey that's good for me!). I have done well with the veggies, but have been lacking the fruit, so I am off tomorrow and will head out for more!

Lacking in the exercise area too! Been working alot lately - 12 -15 hour days sitting. Not alot of energy after...plan to hit the Library tomorrow to see if I can rent one of the Leslie Samsone? walking dvds everyone is talking about. I am sure I have seen her there.

Other than that... I still feel focused and good. I can ACTUALLY feel the almost 14 lbs I have lost... YAY ME!

Keep on keepin' ON!! You are my inspiration!!

Hi everyone emoticon I am down 12.5 lbs in my first 4 weeks!! Woot!

**Goal for the Month of October: 10 lb loss

**Daily Goals for October:
~ start taking vitamins daily
~ eat 2 fruits a day
~ eat 5 veg a day
~ at least 8 waters a day

**Weekly for month of October:
~ 2.5 lbs a week
~ exercise 3 X 45 minutes

**Plan to Accomplish:
~ reduce computer time that could be utilized exercising
~ start toning with weights/exercises at work
~ walking on work breaks or do the stairs
~ walk outside every day
~ stretch every day

i normally don't lose weight this time of year but i gained at other points so i need to make a greater focus on my eating. i like exercising i just need to be more mindful.
