Boy have I been AWOL!! Eating has been ok, no gym, but have been walking and constantly on the move...maintaining my weight, no loss, no gain...although it is getting tougher to turn away from the Christmas goodies...Oh boy! I can do this!

So far the holidays have not derailed my plans to lose weight during this period.
I weighted 206 last Saturday, am looking to lose a pound or so this week.
The weight is slower to come off now that I have lost so much. I expected that.
I also have lots of eating out this week.
One tries to keep it in check, but it is harder than eating at home.

I finally took off the two pounds I'd gained after Thanksgiving plus another 1.2 pounds so I weigh less than I have in a gazillion years emoticon

Ok, I gained .6 pounds over Thanksgiving...(was a over in calories today, under in cardio and over in strength training) Actually, the slight gain was much better that what would have happened without Sparkpeople, but the gain was still disappointing... emoticon

My official weigh in isn't until wednesday, but I've been checking it anyway and it's trending towards smaller numbers! So I'm still "officially" 151, but my unofficial checks have been ranging from 144-148.. Broke the plateau! yay!! It's helping me stay motivated. :) Wednesday will be good! (I hope!)

Boy, I was a bad girl at lunch today. I ate 2 meals worth of calories, I found it interesting that it was all "Healthy Food", no junk, but I ate too much of it! Made better choices for dinner and came in within my calorie range...lucky me!

Yesterday (11/12) was a little over on food, but not too much...I got 30 min of walking in...but I went dancing last night, burned 873 calories for 2 hours of fun,can't beat that!...was down .2 on the scale this AM...every little bit counts!

Ugly- I weigh in tomorrow so I'll know if it has been good or bad. I came down with the flu over the weekend. All I did was sleep. When I woke up Monday, I felt fine so I went to work...Big mistake. I have been home with the flu for the rest of the week. Went to my asthma doctor on Wednesday, he put me back on my nebulizer and prednisone ( Haven't had to use either since March). Prednisone makes me hungry. That is usually when I gain weight that then have to lose making it impossible to lose the last 10 pounds...I have been telling myself that just because the DRUG is making me hungry, doesn't mean I have to listen to it and EAT!
I won't be off the prednisone until the Monday before Thanksgiving. I'll know tomorrow how good I have done this week..

Today is a rainy, cold, dreary, miserable day...and my mood is about the same... Hit the comfort foods for breakfast and lunch...haven't tracked them yet, but I'm sure it ain't gonna be pretty!Did get a short AM walk, but came back soaked to the skin...hoping this rain stops by tonight, but they're forecasting it continuing until tomorrow AM Oh Yuck! How's that for ugly! On the plus, wgt has stayed the same for 2 days, exercise has been good, eating OK! I'll check back tomorrow.

Weight today was 187.2 - down 2.5 from Monday. That is good news. I still need to hit 186 to get back to where I was before I got sick.

Progress is progress - I will take it.

Mentally I feel like I am back on track. No more pouting about not being able to run the marathon. On to bigger and better things.....

Feeling lazy. Still hitting the gym for strength and spin class - but might be dogging it a little.

Back again...10/27 wgt 162, same as yesterday...had a 45 min walk tonight after dinner, but decided to skip the gym...my left hip is raising a stink today, don't know if it's the damp weather or I over-did at the gym yesterday...

No too bad today.... Dropped a pound from yesterday's weigh in, this is good.....over on my calories,not good..... but kicked butt at the gym tonight! emoticon emoticon Hopefully I'll come out OK...Until tomorrow.... emoticon

Bound & determined to have a TERRIFIC last week of October! Stayed on track for the most part with workouts & food last week. Had one night over the weekend the was "off the charts", but nothing I can't counter-act with some extra fitness minutes this week. Loving the way I feel & loving being a part of this team!!!

I was the invisible woman last week...wasn't too involved, no gym, some exercise, but not nearly enough (did go dancing on Friday night, burned many calories), no posting, but I was eating ok until the weekend and went into a tailspin on Sunday...emotional eating emoticon That "stinker" undid any good stuff I did all week! I was up 1.8 pounds this AM... OK, it's a new week....I'm taking a "do over",getting back on track, and this week is going to rock! emoticon

Not good. I started out this challenge at 250.6 pounds, lost some weight and then gained it back to today I weigh the same thing I did when we started.

Right now I have a head cold and asthma cough and generally fell crummy.

Status Report: Starting weight 226.
First week of challenge lost 3 lbs.
Second week lost 2 lbs.
Have increased my walking to 2 or 3, 10 minutes mile
Doing a total of 2 to 3 hours of excerise per day.
No problem keeping to my calories count of 950 per day.
On track to be under 200 by New Years.
Weight on Oct 30, 2010...218
