Lori, sorry to hear about your mom, I know except I have my dad who I care for whenever possible, along with my other sisters. It is difficult to say the least, it is hard to be faithful to ourselves under the stress. Blessings, Diana

So sorry to hear about your mom and will be praying for her. Yogurt is something I eat that makes me feel full. I love the yoplait light peach and cherry the best. I too also drink my water to help out. Good luck to you.

I am sorry about your mom. 2 years ago my mom had a heart attack and she lives 6 hours away. I was driving there at least 2x a month for at least 6 months. I hardly watched what I ate, I was exhausted and I think food was a comfort for me. I think now since I am so brainSparked I would probably just run around the block to get my adrenaline pumped up which in turn helps me control what I eat but the motivation is not always there so I go to the message boards and post like your doing. Just try to drink your water and maybe grab a peice of fruit, try to make sure you have some low cal snacks around and maybe having something quick but healthy to eat like chicken breast with veggies. Just take some time out for you because you need to be strong and you are important too.
My mother recently had a stroke, her progress is slow and painful. She lives in Illinois, I live in Wisconsin. It is nice to see her and my dad every two weeks. OMG(Oh, My, God) when I come home for at least 2 days I am looking for any way to blow off my exercise and I have no filter on what I am eating. I eat what seems to be massive amounts of food and I do not fill up or I don't feel full or satisfied. Today is day two from being back and I started my day with last nights left overs. I am going to do my best today to try and stop myself, I am out of control, and this happens to me every two weeks. Walking with leslie dvd today no matter what I do. Help!!!!!! cause I still don't feel like doing it but I have to think about me and get back on track.
