I run in the dark, so I need to be able to hear what's going on around me since I can't see it. Don't own a pair of headphones anyway.

I always run with music...it helps keep me moving along. I've gone a couple times with no music when I had a malfunction and it seemed to drag by.

I do listen to music when I'm on the treadmill but I don't when I'm outside.

If you are a runner, it doesn't matter how far or how fast. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run." J Bingham

I would love to listen to music while I run, but I can't seem to find any ear buds that work for me. I must have a tiny ear opening and can't seem to get them to stay in my ears while I'm running.
I just focus on the run.
While I'm doing my training runs, I'm on the treadmill and will watch shows on the TV.

Some of you must just be "pros". I am wondering if you don't listen to music while you run, what on earth do you do? Maybe I don't need the music?
