If you do, what are your plans this year? This year I'm not making turkey, because it's very hard to find here. Last year we roasted a chicken, but it just wasn't the same. Soo this year I'm making Oiseaux sans tete (because the gravy is crazy good) with spatzle and carmelized Brussels sprouts. I have yet to decide on desert.
Stuffing -- in or out of the bird? In the bird , but I do like a cornbread sausage stuffing that doesn't work well inside

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? Yep, but I'm Canadian. We had Thanksgiving a month ago.
If you do, what are your plans this year? Had a big get-together with my husband's family.
Stuffing -- in or out of the bird? OUT, if I plan to eat it. IN, if it's mainly to flavour the turkey. I do remember making a spicy sausage stuffing one year which the recipe instructions had us plaster all over the outside of the turkey as well as the inside. We separated the two into different bowls before serving.
What are some of your favorite Thanksgiving dishes? Broccoli-Cauliflower Casserole, Sweet Potatoes (Yams to US friends) and Maple Syrup Casserole, Potatoes Mashed with Herb & Garlic Philadelphia Light.
What's a favorite Thanksgiving memory? Going for a family walk in the UBC Endowment Lands.
