Go for the Gold! I love watching the Olympics and this year's are starting out fantastically. This week's challenge is to become an Olympian. Okay, maybe not literally, but we can all benefit from the energy, enthusiasm and motivation of the Olympics to become better athletically.
For this weeks challenge, pick an Olympic event and compete in it against yourself. That means getting out the stopwatch or the measuring tape and recording your results. If you pick a judged event like diving get a friend to be a judge. Try to do it a couple times this week and set new personal records.
Come back here to take your place on the medals stand and let us know what event(s) you participated in and the records you broke. A list of the sports and events can be found at www.london2012.com/sports/
. I'll be doing the Mens 200M Freestyle swimming and the Mens 5000m run.
With you on my team and me on yours we are bound to succeed!
