I believe it's at the top of the list of songs if you just go to the regular dance mode. Scroll all the way up and it will say Make a Playlist.

I've have DC2 in my collection since October, and tried workout mode for the first time last night. I really like having a choice of routines and less down time during the songs. Is there anyway to create your own playlist on the game? Seems like that would be a great feature!
I thought it strange that you can't enter your weight on the new game, but I did a little research and found were MS is going to do an update where fitness is tracked across all Kinect games. Groovy! (I left my game on while looking this up and got the "Patience is a Virtue" achievement)
Dlc is downloadable content You get microsoft point by three ways 1. Purchase a point card from the local game store or bestbuy or somewhere like that 2. Go online with a credit card to Xbox.com and log into your online account and buy points that way 3. Go to the Xbox live Marketplace and buy points that way still need a credit card though
And you find the various pack under the game add ons in the marketplace
when I say packs I mean that they have so many songs in a veriety pack and they have serveral to choose from...They are all dlc for new songs and new dances with each new song...I chose the two biggest packs because they basically had all the downloadable songs combined in the two packs....I just got 28 songs for 2900 MS points....so to me that was a great deal....You have to have MS points to purchase these packs or individual songs
TEMAMC when you talk about buying packs what is that or where is it? I just got this game and I'm not familiar with downloads, playlist, etc but would love to learn. Also when you download songs do you get new dances?
ok so I downloaded the first pack for 1400 points and it included 13 songs and the second pack I downloaded for 1500 points included 15 songs.....that's a 100 points per song what a deal......I think I have just about all the songs now.....there are several more packs on there that cost less points but I just went for the gusto....Here's to shaking your booty

There is new dlc for Rihana today for 240 points each or a combo pack for 640 points for the following songs What's My Name, S&M and Only Girl in the World I'm going to download right now and get my groove on

I love this new version! I think the fitness option is great too, but I miss seeing my friends' dance scores along with mine. I had a friendly rivalry going with ANNECEK and we'd leap frog each other's scores - somedays that's what drove me to get on! So I miss that. Maybe it's still there and I have to find it?!
I didn't know you could turn freestyle off either - gotta check that out. My girls have been obsessed with earning the second outfits of the crews - so it's a race between the three of them to see who gets to Glitterati!!
I ordered from Amazon and got the 400 pts too - the code came in an email. I love that it loaded my downloads from the first game automatically also.

Oh you can turn off freestyle? You just made my day! I was so excited to go get this game until I played the demo and saw that it's on there so it calmed my excitement. Yes, one part made me not want to run out and buy it. I mean, eventually I was going to get it, but now I think I will buy it Friday.

Acct if you pre ordered from gamestop you got the 400 points it was on the receipt there where my code was .......plus you get 240 points just for buying the game
I had a ball playing last night, but because I went to boxing class before I was too tired to give it 100%. I'll try again Friday when I have more energy.
I did 2 of the fitness modes for 30mins (12 songs total) I LOVED IT and it forced me to dance to songs I probably would have skipped.
Can't wait to play around more with it.
I thought if you pre-ordered you got 400 points? Not sure how that works so I used pts I had to download DC tracks. The play list is LONG. Oh my.
Oh that's so good to know that you can turn off freestyle I'll be doing that on my next workout....I just finish second workout and some single songs afterwards I must say whip my hair by Willow gave me a slight head ache I think I was whipping it a little to hard.....lol

I just finished my first workout too. I created a custom playlist and went through it. I loved the original DC and this one is nothing but an improvement.
I love that we can create a playlist and play straight through. I only wish that I could select different difficulties for different songs. I may be an expert at Poker Face, but I need a break on Bad Romance (can you tell which songs are my favs).
I ADORE that you can turn off freestyle and photos. Can I get an amen!?!?!
Anyway, I love it.

I can't wait to play tonight. Hopefully I'll have the energy after Title boxing.
So I did my first workout on Dc2 it took 21 mins...then I did some independent dances and it was fun I love the new songs....I got my originals all downloaded and it's was really easy to do.....I had a blast....now I have to go to bed gotta go to school tomorrow
I just got the call from gamestop about a midnight release I'm going to this one I'll be doing some dance central come midnight Tues....who pre-ordered this one
I'm in the UK and bought this yesterday. For anyone who's a fan of the original Dance Central, I don't think you'll be disappointed... just as good but with great new features like voice controls that allow you to ask it to pause or return to a previous move in break it down mode, also better fitness modes and ability to create your own playlists.Dance Central original dances can be imported via a code on the back of the booklet and xbox live. I love it (and have the aching legs to prove it!) :o)

Both DC2 and Kinect Sports: Season Two will be available in North America on Oct 25. The game did release today in Europe though. Lucky folks!

DC2 comes out Oct 25 there is a demo on xbox right now to try it out. Gotta love demos.

I pre-ordered this one for sure! I am kinda mad, though, because I thought that you can import your original songs by use of the memory unit on your xbox, but apparently there is supposed to be a 16 digit code on the back of the DC book. I don't have one, I remember there being a card that had a code on it, but it didn't say what the hell it was for all those months ago and I remember taking it out and trying to redeem it on xbox, it not working, and me putting it aside. Now I can't find it and i'm kinda mad at myself and harmonix because they should have said what the card was for in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can't import the songs!!!! I'm not buying another copy of the original just so I can combine the songs either....sad story.

I didn't know that JD was coming out on Kinect I thought that was for the wii thanks for sharing I might just try that one also
Definitely getting it. It's a toss up between this and Just Dance for me...getting both. I got to say though, we've had lots of successful members with DC and Harmonix loves US. Look for a review and interview before the game launches. Some of our members will also be featured on their blog when DC2 launches.
Of course, JD is new to Kinect, so I'm sure we'll see lots of positive stories come from that too. I mean...Ce Lo Green's F you and C&C music factor, going to make you sweat? Yes please!
