I greatly enjoy the CSI games for one playthrough only, NOT FOR KEEPS. Plus it seemed like a game a child could play to be like a detective, but when I got to the part where I swabbed the inside and outside of a condom for dna samples of two suspects, I did not find it appropriate for children. Just an FYI. :D

Unfortunately NetFlix Canada does not offer games, Blockbuster does not deliver to Canada (even though we have stores here) and GameFly is US only.

I may have to wait for the UFC game to hit the sale bin because I can't afford the $60 tag in the stores right now and I can't shop online because I don't have any credit cards right now (and don't really trust the internet to be secure on that count).

Do any of these sites ship to Canada: Netflix, Blockbuster, or GameFly?

Each of them is doing gaming right now. Some of them may have 3 month+ games, but they are at least an option.

Also, if you do take a risk and buy the game, new or used, you can always sell it to Amazon. They have a decent game buy back plan, where they will turn around and sell it used.

Finally, I see you are a CSI fan. I think that would make an AWESOME Kinect game. I know they've made a few different CSI games, but that would be so much fun to play using Kinect controls.

I'm a bit chicken to buy the game as I've had some hit or miss results with workout games. I really wish we had a decent rental place but most in our area are going away from game rentals or are shutting down due to things like NetFlix although I don't know of a mail order game rental site for Canada (at least not ones that carry new games [ie. less than a year old]).

I liked the set up but I think it is a bit too much for me right now. Even on easy (Gaining Strength, 30 day program, first workout), I wound up feeling crippled with soreness for nearly the rest of the week. It would be better if they let you know in advance the number of reps for everything upfront. I picked a light enough weight to use for everything, or so I thought, at 8 pounds, but with the number of reps (15-20+ on many of them) and 3 sets (I was begging for mercy before the third set), I think it would have been challenging to me with no weights used.

That is not really a complaint. I liked the selection of exercises. However, the target audience is probably more in shape than I am at this moment. There is an option of creating your own workouts, so I could set up some pre-beginner workouts with just one or two sets rather than the three. I am going back to zumba to get more used to moving in a gentler manner and then I may do the make your own workouts before trying the 30-day program again.

I'm not sure about easy workouts, but there is an easy, medium and hard levels of gameplay. Although some workouts are basic, some are very intense with up to 45 exercises per workout, but those are at the end of the 30/60 day programs.

I had this game in my hands for at least ten minutes on and off at Best Buy over the weekend going back and forth...I didn't end up buying it because it looks really intense! I'm not sure if I'm ready for something like that yet. If I had known they were still doing the buy 2, get 1, maybe I would have gotten it.

Oh man...that sucks. I've had a few games go bye-bye on me too. I wish these games had a save on the server as well. For instance, Halo or Call of Duty, they have all your data on their website and even if you are at a friends house, all your history goes with you. It would prevent these local save issues.

As for the game, I'm slowly making my way back into the shape I was in last year. This game seems pretty intense. Are there some easy workouts or is it all hardcore?

I made it to day 68 in a row and my save reset my workout history. emoticon
I went from having 43 hrs of in game experience to a record of 20 minutes in my workout log. I'm so disgusted that I don't even want to start over again.... But I will, since I cannot deny that I look and feel better from all the work I spent so far. It's just... I'd hate to... Ahh well, no excuses. emoticon

If anyone could send a few challenges to YAGERMONSTER420, it would be most appreciated. Thank you. :D

I have played some of this but I only got three day in. I will have to get streaks going for longer than that in order to get a better use of the game. Thanks for the challenges being sent to me. I will look at them today in more detail. Good luck to everyone that uses the game.

I picked it up yesterday but haven't tried it yet. If my mood is in an upswing after work, I'll give it a try. I am excited about it. The guy at walmart (bought it sat, but took it back after seeing it on sale for $10 less at best buy on sunday - i hadn't opened it yet) said it would really get me toned up. he used to do that sort of thing before an injury.
