lol, yes it does seem like something that would be a little akward. I was one of the few people they sent a trailer too and it was done professionally without showing any of the details of the game. They said they are testing in clubs that sound like "singers" in Europe, but are experiencing some issues with it reading correctly. lol I'll be sure to keep you all posted as it moves along. Until then, it seems good for a chuckle.
LOL! I can't imagine how that would work given the limitations of Kinect. I'm thinking especially of EA Sports Active, where I am constantly being ordered to stand so the sensor can find me, or keep my face and shoulders towards the sensor, not to mention the fact that it loses me if I sit on the floor too soon, or turn away from the game. I am trying to picture this happening with this supposed Kinect Erotics game, and it is giving me quite a laugh.

Well, this one does appear real, believe it or not. I put a message out to the developers and they have been responding back. They are waiting for approval from Microsoft, which should come back in about 2 weeks, but they are kind of doubting they will get it. They are definitely planning something for the PC, where you can plug the Kinect into the PC and use it that way. Right now they are testing it at "clubs" in Europe and are having issues with two people being too close to each other. They have to work out those kinks and are still aiming for a Q2 launch.
Oh and while I'm at it, lets talk achievements. I'll have to post those later. lol, maybe not. Oh, I see this one getting pretty hot in the news as soon as it hits the states.
OK, so I'm doing some Kinect digging around for you all and stumbled across this potential new release. I'm not sure if this is a joke or the real deal. Somehow I HIGHLY doubt Microsoft will let this one be published, but here it is.
The game is called Kinect Erotics and is scheduled to be out sometime in the second quarter. It needs to, um, "players" and appears to be very similar to how Dance Central works. The key difference is that you won't be able to play this in front of Grandma or the kids at Thanksgiving dinner. Unless of course, that is your thing. lol, ugh.
Like I said, given the push for family friendly programming, I highly doubt this will see the light of day. Besides, Microsoft has stated they will not allow an adult rated game on the Xbox. Mature rated is as gory, sexual, etc as it gets. Time will tell though.
The question is though, does it count as exercise? I know, I know, I'm terrible.
