Hello to you all! I hope you are doing well. I am having a very busy season right now, between Lent and all that it brings, to work and parenting. It seems again, to be a season of not enough hours in a day!
I recently bought a new car, and it has the much sought after ability to sync and play music from an ipod or Mp3 device. So, i had to get a new ipod.
I know, its as good a reason as any right?
My husband recommended the ipod touch, as it allows you to buy and load music straight to the device, (he has one and loves it dearly) plus all the apps.... But i have an awesome android phone and don't need my ipod to have apps.
My teenage son recommended the smaller ipod nano, saying, it would fit in your pocket, You can store music and it wouldnt take up alot of room in your purse and it isn't heavy. I was quite sure he had this opinion because he wanted me to buy one for him...
So, i did some research online, read over the reveiws and went to the local super store that sells the best for less, and held each one and looked them over. I priced both and went home to ponder.
I will tell you what i chose and why. I got the nano. It has a clip on it, built in and i can wear it on my pant waist. It is very small and sleek and fits into any pocket in my purse for secure keeping. What really excited me, it has a pedometer on it! I can put it on my waist, turn on the music and go for a walk, all in one device! It also has a radio built into it, so i can listen to the radio and if i hear a song i like, i can click it and save it to look up in itunes to see if i want to purchase it..
Then, after i had already made my purchase, i see on Amazon a new wrist holder for it, that turns the device into a watch! It has a really sleek and attractive face and fits into it really secure. so i can have the device at my fingers all the time. It really is neat. plus, i can just thread the ear bud cords up through my sleeve and not have cords hanging all out.
So, it supports my fitness goals with the pedometer and an app to track and record your steps. it supports my fitness by also being able to listen to music hands free while i am walking, and it has major cool factor. Last but not least, going back to the trigger to buying it, it plays my music and play lists in my car! Can't lose. My new favorite device!
